In addition, it is free to use and has been co-financed by the European Commission's Erasmus+ programme, with the collaboration of five European partners.

Training is essential for clowns who bring joy and relief to patients in hospital settings. The platform offers a comprehensive course structured in five units, which address the main aspects of this profession:

- History of the hospital clown: An introduction to the origin and evolution of this important role within the hospital setting.

- Psychology: Key aspects to understand the emotional and psychological needs of patients, with a special focus on how to address delicate situations.

- Artistic Techniques: A space to develop acting, improvisation and gestural communication skills, essential for creating moments of joy.

- Music and Objects: The use of musical instruments and creative objects as therapeutic tools to connect with patients in a playful and emotional way.

- Digital Skills for Clowns and Healthcare Personnel: Given the increasing use of digital platforms, this unit provides essential digital skills for both clowns and healthcare personnel, improving interaction in virtual interventions and environments.

Connection between Actors in the Environment

The platform also offers an option to create and participate in public and private groups, where different actors in the environment can interact. Clowns, doctors, nurses and other health professionals can share experiences, knowledge and resources, allowing a collaborative network that promotes the well-being of patients. These groups provide a space for the exchange of good practices, discussions on specific cases and the generation of new ideas for interventions.

Videoconferencing Service for Online Interventions

One of the platform's most important innovations is the video conferencing system, which allows hospital clowns to carry out interventions directly with patients remotely. This is especially valuable in times of pandemic or isolation when physical visits to hospitals may be restricted. Through these calls, patients can enjoy moments of joy and relaxation without the clown being physically present in the room, making it easier to reach more hospitals and patients.

Final Presentation in Florence

On September 19, the project closing event was held in the city of Florence, where Blue Room Innovation, one of the key partners, presented the Virtual Healthcare Clown platform to representatives of various entities in the healthcare and social sector. This final presentation marked a milestone in the implementation of the platform and underlined its potential impact on hospital well-being at a European level.
