Re-Fashionable, making the fashion industry more sustainable
The Re-fashionable project aims to transform the VET sector and fashion industry by creating a sustainable and circular model. It includes an e-learning course, a digital collaboration platform, and a Summer Lab for developing and documenting sustainable fashion business plans.
Objectives
1. Raise awareness, generate ideas, and establish commitments for a more sustainable fashion industry.
2. Provide digital tools and knowledge content to fashion professionals or aspiring fashion practitioners to implement changes in their work towards a more circular fashion industry.
3. Link and interconnect members of the fashion chain who aim to have a more ecological impact in their work towards a more sustainable fashion.
4. Reduce waste, environmental pollution, and support new initiatives to change attitudes towards consumption and disposal.
Impact
A digital platform for "learn-connect-collaborate" with the aim of bringing together all stakeholders in the fashion cycle: vocational training schools, designers, fashion companies, and professional and environmental organizations offering specialized knowledge.
An e-learning course on sustainable fashion processes, targeting all the aforementioned stakeholder groups.
A Summer Lab that will gather members of the target groups to create a sustainable fashion business plan and a set of Video Stories documenting the process.
