Denisa Gibovic is a bold and visionary leader with over 20 years of experience combining industry and research, and noted for her unique ability to create, lead and transform innovative teams and solutions. As CEO and founder of Blue Room Innovation, Denisa has driven the company from its inception in 2015 to become a benchmark in the adoption of deep tech, with a team of 30 professionals working with renowned companies such as Ecoembes, Celsa Group and Adalmo, among others.

Denisa is a born entrepreneur with a keen ability to identify opportunities and turn challenges into successful and scalable projects. Under her leadership, Blue Room Innovation has positioned itself as a pioneer in digital transformation and sustainability, driving the creation of collaborative ecosystems that connect companies from different sectors to foster circular and efficient business models. Her strategic approach and ability to integrate disruptive technologies with consulting and public funding have been key to the company's growth.

With a leadership style characterized by energy and courage, Denisa has been able to build a multidisciplinary team capable of developing complex solutions and adapting to market needs. Her ability to lead not only projects, but also people, has consolidated Blue Room Innovation as an open innovation platform, where the most daring ideas become high-impact realities.

Prior to founding Blue Room Innovation, Denisa held strategic positions as Executive Director of the World University Service of the Mediterranean (WUSMED), where she led key projects and fostered international collaboration networks. In addition, her experience as an ACCIÓ-accredited consultant and visiting professor at La Salle BCN has allowed her to guide other companies on their path towards innovation and development.

Denisa began her career in diplomacy and international relations at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has held key roles in European consulting and project management, always with a strong focus on innovation and sustainable impact.

Denisa holds a PhD in Law, Economics and Business from the University of Girona, an MBA from La Salle BCN and has completed executive programs in leadership for sustainable development at the Yale School of Management and Esade. Her solid background and vast experience make her a formidable leader, capable of guiding Blue Room Innovation towards a future full of innovation and business success.
