On September 17, Blue Room Innovation team took part of the first Blockchain Conference of Catalonia (BxCat)

A fair that took place in Girona and that had about fifty speakers and twenty exhibitors, all of them specialized in the different applications of this technology.

Denisa Gibovic and Xavier Tarrés from Blue Room Innovation, were able to explain to all attendees how blockchain technology can be applied to improve recycling. His interventions were focused on the webapp RECICLOS and in the evolutions of the traceability of the containers with blockchain technology. They also had the participation of Zacarías Torbado and Luciano Palombarani, from Ecoembes and Alfonso Cornella, from Next Institute.

In the experience area at Blue Room Innovation stand, all attendees had the opportunity to test RECICLOS expirience where a demonstration with exclusive local prizes was prepared for the participants during the event.

A successful first edition

The day was a unique meeting that hung the sold-out 5 days before the date, numbers that show that the interest in understanding and discovering the benefits of blockchain is undeniably on the rise.

In fact, the organization has already announced that there will be a second edition of the Conference in 2022 with a duration of 2 days and in a bigger space.
